Stephanie Rexing

Stephanie Rexing, OTD, OTR/L, CLT, is an Assistant Professor in the Occupational Therapy Program at the University of Southern Indiana. With clinical experience spanning acute care, outpatient rehabilitation and lymphodema management, and pediatric behavioral health, Stephanie brings a diverse practice perspective to occupational therapy education. Her teaching and scholarly interests emphasize experiential and community-based learning, interprofessional education, clinical reasoning, and expanding the role of occupational therapy across traditional and emerging practice settings. Stephanie is actively engaged in developing community partnerships and innovative educational experiences that connect classroom learning with authentic practice. She is passionate about preparing future occupational therapy practitioners to become confident collaborators, critical thinkers, and advocates for the profession and the clients and communities they serve.
