Support Groups – People with Parkinson’s & Care Partners

People with Parkinson’s -Monthly support group meetings are facilitated by Anne Byrne, PT. Contact her for the schedule.

Care Partners – The Parkinson’s Care Partner Support meetings are in person. The time together is a confidential, caring space to share insights and challenges as care partners. The second Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 PM at SWIRCA and the third Tuesday from 6-7:00 PM at Bethel United Church of Christ. Masks are required at both facilities. Coming to one meeting does not commit you to a monthly meeting. The meetings are designed to meet your needs. For questions contact Dorothy at or 812-319-5522.

Newly Diagnosed

PD Self – Evansville – Are you newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and wanting to learn more about the disease and how to manage it? Consider signing up for the 2023 PD SELF session. PD SELF  is a national program that provides newly diagnosed Parkinson’s patients with the motivation, confidence, skills and knowledge to improve their quality of life by introducing them to ways of better managing their disease as it progresses over time and provides care partners with education and tools for effective care partnering.
