About

Our Mission

Our mission is dedicated to raising awareness of Parkinson’s disease in the tri-state area and providing resources about Parkinson’s disease (“PD”).

Our History

Welcome to PDEVV Hub, a beacon of hope and information for those affected by Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in the tri-state area. Founded in 2022 by Kathy McMurray, a Parkinson’s patient, and Harley Martin, a Certified Personal Trainer, our mission is to raise awareness and provide vital resources to the community. We are a fully independent organization, unaffiliated with any other entity, focusing on local community engagement and promoting Parkinson’s-specific exercise initiatives. Our values emphasize community outreach, wellbeing through exercise, and the dissemination of educational resources.

Our story is one of commitment and growth, with events like the annual “Tulip Trot” and a fall symposium dedicated to education about new PD developments. We offer numerous activities across Evansville and Henderson, including support groups, and educational sessions. Whether you are newly diagnosed or seeking to expand your support network, we invite you to explore our resources, subscribe to our e-newsletter, or contact us directly for assistance. Join us in creating a thriving, informed community, and consider supporting our efforts through volunteering or donations. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.
