#GivingTuesday

We are soliciting through Giving Tuesday this year because we are so ready to have Parkinson’s disease exercise classes back in person. Prior to the pandemic, Evansville had lots of exercise options for People with Parkinson’s. The programs had to figure out how to survive and how to continue to serve their clientele, so they moved to online platforms.

It is challenging to exercise online for fear of falling, that the exercise is not performed correctly causing an injury, and the personal touch that we crave doesn’t exist.

Since the space that the local hospital’s had allowed us to use has been converted into other profitable uses, we need funding to bring an in person general Parkinson’s exercise class back to town. This funding will also be used to pay for the teacher who is trained in Parkinson’s exercise. Check out our campaign http://www.pdevvhub.org
